Condo #31: Ocean Front, Second Floor

Wonderful week with our whole family! 10 month old grand baby's first trip to Cayman was a huge success.

As always, it’s good to get away to Cayman. We like the condos at Plantana with their elegant style and design. Location is perfect right in the middle of everything.

Our first trip to Grand Cayman! We weren’t sure what to expect, but Plantana was fabulous! It is a small, intimate, quiet property, which we loved. We enjoyed the relaxed, large, uncrowded beach in front of the property. It wasn’t “too people-y.” It felt like a true escape. If we wanted more “hustle and bustle,” we could easily walk to the Ritz, Westin, Kimpton, or Bonny Moon for a cocktail and vibes.
The rental itself - #31 - was perfect for our family of 4. The ONLY thing I would change about that particular unit, is the size of the bed in the primary bedroom. It is a queen, and we are accustomed to a King. The bed was very comfortable though, and we knew of the size difference when we booked the unit. Bathrooms were very nice. Kitchen had everything we needed.
The property is clean and convenient! Our housekeeper was so sweet and accommodating. The unit had a small cooler available, and plenty of complimentary floaties were available at the pool. We would 100% stay here again. If you’re deciding between this condo and a large hotel, this is by far the winner!

We have stayed at Plantana 4 times over the past 7 years and we have loved it every time! The property is beautiful, right on 7 mile beach and in an area that is less crowded than much of 7-mile beach. The ability to have a gorgeous view, step out to the pool and beach, and be in such an idyllic setting is our favorite thing about Plantana, but we also love the location (walking distance to many restaurants, shopping, and beach activities) the well-appointed and lovely condos we have stayed in there, and the people. We can't wait to return!

We visit Cayman often a mix between Westin and condos. This was by far a 5 star property with a Cayman vibe. our family enjoyed every moment at the property and our condo had spectacular views. The beach and pool areas were quite and peaceful.

Our rental was everything we had hoped for and more! It felt more like a hotel than your typical vacation rental - there were beach toys for the kids and a cooler to take to the beach. The location is perfect - close to restaurants but away from the busier stretches of SMB.

Very well maintained and nicely furnished unit was perfect for our stay on our favorite beach.
