Rental Terms
Additional Charges and Information:
- 13% Government Tax
- 6% Service Charge
- 3 night minimum stay during Low Season (Apr 15th – Dec 14th)
- 5 night minimum stay during High Season (Dec 15th – Dec 19th & Jan 5th – Apr 14th) and for stays that include any night of Thanksgiving Week (Saturday before to Saturday after)
- 7 night minimum stay during Holiday period of December 20th – January 4th
- Absolutely no discounts are extended from December 20th through to January 4th and during Thanksgiving Week
- $50 extra per person is charged per night for the 5th and 6th guest in 2 bedroom units only
- Reservation Process: An email response to your booking will be sent within 3 business days for you to verify accuracy and make adjustments. Credit card details are required at the time of booking.
- Deposit: 3 nights rental rate will be charged as a deposit for your reservation.
- Cancellation/Change Fee: Once the deposit is taken, a cancellation or change to the dates of stay or length of stay is subject to a US$150 cancellation/change fee.
Balance and Full Payment Due:
- 30 days prior to arrival – for stays during Low Season (Apr 15th – Dec 14th)
- 60 days prior to arrival – for stays during High Season (Dec 15th – Dec 19th and Jan 5th – Apr 14th) and for stays that include any night of Thanksgiving Week (Saturday before to Saturday after)
- 90 days prior to arrival – for stays during the Holiday period of Dec 20th – Jan 4th
- 90 days prior to arrival – for all group stays, including wedding parties
The deposit, less the US$150 cancellation/change fee, is refundable PRIOR to the following penalty periods:
- 30 days prior to arrival – for stays during Low Season (Apr 15th – Dec 14th)
- 60 days prior to arrival – for stays during High Season (Dec 15th – Dec 19th and Jan 5th – Apr 14th) and for stays that include any night of Thanksgiving Week (Saturday before to Saturday after)
- 90 days prior to arrival – for any group stays (including wedding parties) and/or stays during the Holiday period of Dec 20th – Jan 4th***
- Late cancellation inside the 30, 60 or 90 day penalty period is subject to forfeiture of the initial deposit amount of 3 nights rental, plus the US$150 cancellation/change fee
- ***Any cancellations within the 90 day penalty period for Holiday bookings are fully non-refundable for the entire reservation total
- Travel Insurance is strongly recommended as a safeguard against cancellation or no-show for any reason.

Worry Free Hurricane Guarantee
With our Worry Free Hurricane Guarantee, Plantana is the perfect summer/early fall destination for some fun in the sun. Although it’s paradise here, we do get the occasional hurricane in the area. If a hurricane warning is issued by the National Hurricane Center for the Cayman Islands or for your place of residence within five days of your scheduled arrival date, you may call in advance and cancel your upcoming vacation at Plantana with no penalty charges. Likewise, if your stay at Plantana is cut short due to issuance of a hurricane warning with either an optional or mandatory evacuation, Plantana will refund the unused portion of your planned vacation impacted by the hurricane warning.
