Rental Terms

Additional Charges and Information:

  • 13% Government Tax
  • 6% Service Charge (Grats)
  • 3 night minimum stay during Low Season
  • 5 night minimum stay during High Season, including any nights of Thanksgiving Week (Saturday before to Saturday after)
  • 7 night minimum stay during Holiday / Festive Season
  • Season dates are established annually by Plantana based on market demand, Easter, and major travel holidays and apply to the rates displayed at the time of booking
  • Absolutely no discounts are extended during the Holiday / Festive Period or Thanksgiving Week
  • In units that permit additional occupancy, USD $50 extra per person, per night, is charged for the 5th and 6th guest in two-bedroom units only.
  • Reservation Process: An email response to your booking will be sent within three (3) business days for you to verify accuracy and make adjustments. Credit card details are required at the time of booking.
  • Deposit: A deposit equal to three (3) nights’ rental will be charged to confirm your reservation.
  • Authorization for Incidental Charges and Damages:
    By confirming your reservation, you authorize Plantana to charge the credit card on file for any damages, missing items, or excessive cleaning identified during your stay or discovered within seven (7) days after departure.
    Charges will only be applied where damage or loss exceeds normal wear and tear. Where applicable, supporting documentation will be provided.
  • Cancellation / Change Fee: Once the booking deposit is taken, a cancellation or change to the dates of stay or length of stay is subject to a USD $150 cancellation / change fee.

Balance and Full Payment Due:

  • 30 days prior to arrival – for stays during Low Season
  • 60 days prior to arrival – for stays during High Season, including stays that include any night of Thanksgiving Week
  • 90 days prior to arrival – for stays during the Holiday / Festive Period
  • 90 days prior to arrival – for all group stays, including wedding parties

The deposit, less the US$150 cancellation/change fee, is refundable PRIOR to the following penalty periods:

  • 30 days prior to arrival – for stays during Low Season
  • 60 days prior to arrival – for stays during High Season, including stays that include any night of Thanksgiving Week
  • 90 days prior to arrival – for any group stays (including wedding parties) and/or stays during the Holiday / Festive Period*
  • Late cancellation inside the 30, 60, or 90-day penalty period is subject to forfeiture of the initial deposit amount (three nights’ rental), plus the USD $150 cancellation / change fee.
  • Any cancellations within the 90-day penalty period for Holiday / Festive bookings are fully non-refundable for the entire reservation total.
  • Travel Insurance is strongly recommended as a safeguard against cancellation or no-show for any reason.

Worry Free Hurricane Guarantee

With our Worry Free Hurricane Guarantee, Plantana is the perfect summer and early fall destination for some fun in the sun. Although it’s paradise here, we do occasionally experience hurricanes.
If a hurricane warning is issued by the National Hurricane Center for the Cayman Islands or for your place of residence within five (5) days of your scheduled arrival date, you may call in advance and cancel your upcoming vacation at Plantana with no penalty charges.
Likewise, if your stay at Plantana is cut short due to issuance of a hurricane warning with either an optional or mandatory evacuation, Plantana will refund the unused portion of your planned vacation impacted by the hurricane warning.
