Tara D. Ebanks

General Manager

Tara grew up immersed in Cayman’s tourism industry, from her early days at the old Holiday Inn to leadership roles across hotels, condominiums and property management. With a hospitality career spanning more than 25 years, she brings extensive experience in property operations and people management, with a strong focus on balancing exceptional guest service with trusted owner relations.

Her connection to Plantana is also personal — her mother once served as Property Manager, making Tara’s leadership part of a family connection to the property. As General Manager, she is proud to guide Plantana forward while preserving the character and warmth that have made it special for generations of owners and guests.

Tara’s approach combines warm, personal service with sound management and a strong sense of community, ensuring Plantana continues to feel distinctly Caymanian and, for so many returning guests, like a home away from home.

Lina McLaughlin

Operations & Guest Services Coordinator

With a background spanning hospitality, property management and business operations, Lina brings a wealth of experience and a thoughtful, hands-on approach to her role at Plantana.

Working closely with the General Manager, Lina supports both the day-to-day operation of the property and the many behind-the-scenes details that help keep Plantana running smoothly. Her experience in resort and property operations, combined with her warm and approachable nature, makes her equally at home coordinating a project, assisting an owner or helping a guest enjoy their stay.

Fluent in both English and Spanish, Lina is always happy to assist and looks forward to getting to know Plantana’s owners, returning guests and new visitors alike.

Nicole Ritch

Head of Guest Services

With more than 20 years of experience in hospitality, property operations and guest service, Nicole brings both experience and an unmistakably warm personality to Plantana. Her Cayman hospitality roots stretch back to some of the island’s well-known hotels, including the original Holiday Inn, Cayman Islander and The Westin.

Nicole has spent much of her career creating memorable guest experiences, from managing vacation properties and welcoming arriving guests to providing the thoughtful local recommendations and personal touches that can turn a great holiday into an unforgettable one. Her approach to hospitality is warm, attentive and genuinely personal — qualities reflected time and again in guest feedback throughout her career.

As a senior member of Plantana’s Guest Services team, Nicole is a bubbly and familiar presence for our owners and guests and is always happy to help make your time at Plantana feel easy, comfortable and, most importantly, like coming home.
