Centrally located and set just slightly away from the pool, this spacious 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom, ocean front condo has a screened lanai door that opens directly onto the lawn. This ground floor condo has easy access to the pool and Seven Mile Beach just steps away. The master bedroom has a king bed with en suite bathroom and the second bedroom has two queen beds. An air mattress, highchair or crib can be accommodated. Maximum occupancy: 6

A very special place

Plantana is a very special place. We booked a ground floor oceanfront room #6 and it was everything we could have asked for. The units and grounds are so impeccable and managed so well. We had the best time on the screened in porch where the kids (age 9,11) could easily access the pool and the ocean. If you have young kids who are non-swimmers you may want to book a higher floor so they don't accidentally get to the pool. But for us, it was just what we wanted and needed. Its on the most perfect beach and there are never crowds, no need to save a lounger by the pool or beach. Just really perfect!

For the past 35 years or so we have spent vacation time in Grand Cayman
The majority of our time has been at Plantana where we have enjoyed the best experiences for the past 20 years. The staff is friendly and accommodating and have become our Cayman family.
The condos are pleasant and well kept and service is top notch. The beach is so beautiful and inviting with plenty of umbrellas , chairs and tables to enjoy.
There is no better place to relax and enjoy your time in Grand Cayman

Our family has been coming to Cayman since 1992 and staying at Plantana for about seventeen years. On our recent visit, we introduced our youngest two (of five) grandchildren to your wonderful condos. You have the best stretch of beach on 7 Mile. Your staff is always friendly and helpful. The condos and grounds are well cared for and there are so many activities to choose from. We have visited Cayman Turtle Center, gone swimming with sting rays, rented paddle boards, snorkeled, gone scuba diving and just relaxed on your beautiful beach. Most of our favorite restaurants are no longer there but we do enjoy Ragazzis, The Waterfront and Macabuca. You never disappoint!

Simply Perfect

Our family of four stayed at Plantana for five nights during spring break in April 2025. It is very family friendly and not as crowded as the larger hotels. It is also centrally located near to restaurants and shops. We stayed in unit #6 which was on the ground floor near the pool and literally just steps from the beautiful white sand beach and gorgeous clear water. There were always beach chairs and umbrellas available for use and we never felt crowded. The unit was very nicely decorated, very clean, and very comfortable. The staff at Plantana were very nice and helpful and the daily housekeeping was great. We really enjoyed having Coconut, the resident cat, keep us company on the beach each day. It’s hard to express just how awesome our experience was here. We highly recommend Plantana.

Perfect Family Trip

Our family rented two ground floor condos, side by side. It was perfect! Both condos were well appointed with nice kitchens and bathrooms. We were poolside and the sea was steps away. There were pool toys and floats available for use. It was never crowded and the waters were warm and relaxing.
The location is convenient to shops and restaurants. We found a taxi driver that could accommodate our party of 9 and he was able to take us wherever we wanted or would find someone who could. We had planned on renting a car for a day or two but never needed it — mainly because we were so content just to stay at Plantana!
I can’t say enough great things about the location, the condo, the people. I had been planning this trip for over a year and feared that I might have overhyped it to myself and family but Plantana exceeded my expectations in every way. So happy we chose to stay here and make these memories with our children and grandchildren!

Our stay was wonderful, but our unit had issues with hot water in both showers. It would have been a disruptive repair during our stay so we opted not to have it repaired during our stay. Other than that it was perfect. In the 20+ years we have been staying at Plantana this was our first issue.

We had a very nice stay at Plantana. The condo was very well equipped and up to date. All appliances were relatively new. Bathrooms nicely updated. Plenty of room for the four of us that stayed. We were a stones throw away from the beach and pool. Grounds were well maintained. I highly recommend Plantana.

Best Vacation Spot Ever!!

We have been coming to Plantana for 25 years. Wouldn't stay anywhere else! The beach is beautiful and not crowded and the rooms are great! Love the screened porches. Staff is great and the sunsets are incredible! Our kids and grand kids were so sad they couldn't come with us this year. Already planning our trip for next year!

Cayman Islands Plantana Unit 6 Review

This Stay was very enjoyable my family had a great time & enjoyed the facilities.
The Rental unit was lush and clean, with high end fixtures and appliances. There was easy access to the pool and beach area, easily the best unit in the entire complex.
Staff was very attentive to our needs and quick to resolve a few issues we had as result of the unfortunate event of a hurricane that past through the island during our stay.
Complex is located on the best part of the Seven Mile Beach where you can take advantage of the world class Cayman Islands pristine beach and crystal clear waters, as well as located near Super Markets, restaurants, Retail stores and the Cayman Night Life etc.
I Highly Recommend this complex, especially Unit 6.

Great Staycation

Kristy was very helpful throughout the selection and booking process. We’re very particular when selecting our rentals now (after a few rentals on the North coast didn’t live up to their photos, reviews, or our expected levels of cleanliness). Kristy showed us a number of potential rental units that matched our taste and #6 felt most like “home” for our family of three. We enjoyed the unit, especially being able to walk out the patio doors and grab a swim or tanning session. The gardens, pool area and beach are well maintained.

Wish we could stay forever
We did a staycation over Easter after staying at Christmas. The property and location can't be beat. The condo had everything we needed. We would definitely stay again with affordable rates.
