Condo #04: Ocean Front, Ground Floor

We have visited Plantana every year over the last 6+ years and it never disappoints. Plantana is the best combination of lovely condo space, beautiful beach and pool and perfect location. Our condo #4 was spacious, clean and since it’s on the ground floor, perfect for walking back and forth to the beach throughout the beautiful day. We love it and will be back soon!

Wonderful experience again at Plantana! It’s the best on Seven Mile Beach!

The unit we were in was perfect and spotless. It was also fully equipped, comfortable and was attended to daily by the housekeeping staff. The grounds were beautiful and Seven Mile Beach lives up to its reputation as one of the best beaches anywhere.
We just got home and have already booked a stay in this unit for next fall.

Our experience was just what we wanted and have come to expect from Plantana.
Check in and out was easy. The office and maintenance staff were a pleasure to deal with. Issues were fixed promptly. MiLady was excellent as always and kept our space tidy and well appointed with what we needed. The grounds were well kept and gorgeous. The grills were clean and well maintained. The beach was well maintained, the beach furniture was plentiful and adequate. Security on patrol was obvious every night and welcome.
The only issue that needs to be addressed in unit 4 is with the shower controls in the master bathroom. They are broken and do not function as intended. The button that allows you to have hot water higher than the limit as set, is broken. The cap covering the control had to be replaced during our stay, but we never reported the issues with the control itself.

This a great place to stay. The units are nice and the beach is great. They have nice shade trees on the beach.

I got it for a girls weekend retreat and it was the perfect fit for 7 of us. The rooms and sofa bed accommodated us comfortably. The upgrades are nice and appreciated. The views to the pool and sea is just the best and the property is kept clean. We would definitely stay again.

We stayed for 7 nights during a special rate. This property is fantastic. The customer service equally rivals that of the big hotels Kristy and Kelly in the office could not be more helpful. The grounds, security and housekeeping staff are lovely. The only suggestion is that the bbq's are charcoal and while lovely it would have been nicer to not have to purchase charcoal and wait for them to heat before cooking.

As for the unit itself, the condo was one of the best stocked condo's we've stayed in. We just needed to bring food, drink, condiments and cooking oils. Plenty of cooking utensils, pots, pans, etc. The space was very nice and clean. The furniture is a bit mismatched and it looks like they are in the middle of changing to newer items but haven't completed that. It didn't at all impact our stay. The only downside was the beds. We appreciate everyone likes a different firmness but the master bedroom mattress was so hard that we didn't sleep well and some nights we slept on the couch. The 2 queen beds were a tad softer, but not much. This would be the only thing that would keep us from renting this exact unit again. We did find out afterward that mattress toppers were available so that may have helped a little. If the beds were as comfortable as everything else this place would be a no brainer for the price. However, at regular rates I do think that my expectations of the interior and comfort of the mattress would have been much different.
