Fish Fry: A Cayman classic

The fish fry is a deep rooted Caymanian tradition that goes all the way back to the initial resurrection of these beautiful islands we call home. Cayman’s rich seafaring past naturally adopted this iconic staple because of its simplicity and easy access through various fish fry huts sprinkled around island. Today, the fish fry is still prominent in Cayman culture and there are a number of local spots that add their own flavourful addition to this tasty dish. From rustic seaside stands to well-known island institutions, we’ve pulled together a list of our favourite places you’ll find this Caribbean classic.

Heritage Kitchen
