The clear, calm waters are the perfect temperature for swimming, snorkeling and sailing. What more could you wish for? In this week’s blog we have pulled together a list of local activities, from cultural experiences, a seafood sensation and salsa classes that will see you dance the night away, there is something for any vacation agenda.

Salsa Dancing at the Wharf – Tuesdays at 9:30pm

Get ready because on Tuesdays, WE SALSA!  The Wharf not only offers delicious food and magnificent sunsets, it is also where you can take free Salsa lessons beginning at 9:30pm. Once the sun goes down, professionals and beginners mix and mingle on the dance floors as a live DJ plays energizing tunes that will carry you into the night. Throw on your dancing shoes and enjoy this popular Latin-night event that takes place every Tuesday at The Wharf.

The Annual Orchid Show – Saturday, 30 and Sunday, 31 March 9am – 4:30pm

Flower lovers will be mesmerized by locally grown orchids at the Annual Orchid Show taking place in the picturesque Queen Elizabeth Botanic Park II at the end of March. The show not only sells orchids, it promotes the conservation of Cayman’s national flower, the Banana Orchid, and attendees will also learn techniques on growing a variety of gorgeous orchids at home. The Botanic Park is located in the district of North Side on Frank Sound Road, a 1-hour journey from Plantana, and well worth the drive!

As you can see, March has a myriad of offerings. However, if lazing by the beach with a good book is more up your alley, Plantana has you covered.
