Every trip to Grand Cayman is a truly extraordinary experience. With our tropical temperatures year round and a different beach for almost every day of the year, including Plantana’s own private stretch of Seven Mile Beach, is it any wonder we have become a second home to so many?

Our hearts and prayers go out to those affected by Hurricane Irma in our fellow Caribbean Islands as well as our family and friends in Florida, the Southeastern states and those in Texas trying to recover from Hurricane Harvey.

One of the great features of our condos here at Plantana is the fully equipped kitchens that provide the perfect place to cook a family dinner. But, when there are so many vacation memories to be made, who wants to waste time shopping for groceries.

The Public Health Department of the Cayman Islands has recently announced that Cayman has been removed from the Zika virus travel advisory list.

Work experience in the tourism industry for students is a sure fire way to open their eyes to a future career in tourism while encouraging them to commit to a life of being Caymankind to everyone.

Spending your summer or fall break in paradise may seem too good to be true but here at Plantana, we are helping you make that dream a reality with our Sunsational summer savings!

From our beautiful sandy beaches to the underwater wonderlands, Grand Cayman is the perfect place to find your own family adventure and create some amazing life long memories.

Anyone visiting Cayman in the 70s will say they stumbled upon paradise and many, many of our visitors have fallen under the spell of these idyllic Islands, considering them a second home or at the least, an annual vacation spot.

We are proud to announce that Plantana has recently been awarded a Certificate of Excellence from travel review website TripAdvisor for the fifth consecutive year.

This week, tourism stars were out in full force at CITA’s 14th annual Stingray Awards, held at the Kimpton Seafire Resort & Spa.

Whether it’s your first trip to Grand Cayman or you’re practically a local, there is always something new and interesting to discover on our little slice of paradise. From the world famous Seven Mile Beach to the never ending list of places to eat and events to attend, Cayman truly has a little something for everyone.

While imagining an island paradise, a castle may not be the first thing to come to mind. But Grand Cayman has our very own ‘castle’, although not quite like the ones you will find in fairy-tales.

With our deep blue sea and lush landscapes, the Cayman Islands seem like they are straight out of the silver screen. With this in mind, there is no surprise that the end of June also brings with it an event perfect for every movie lover: the CayFilm International Film Festival.

With the Cayman Islands surrounded by the beautiful and inviting Caribbean Sea, it’s no wonder swimming is one of the most popular sports here. One of Cayman’s biggest international sporting events highlights our love of the water and it’s just around the corner.

The clock was lazily approaching the half hour past 5pm, when a gentleknock on the Plantana office door signaled the beginning of an exciting change of pace: a scheduled  interview with a three strong, spirited women connected by blood who each, in their own special way, came to fall in love with Grand Cayman and Plantana 17 years ago.  As would be expected of Maria, the matriarch of the family, she initiated the call to action and was seated comfortably on the terracotta colored cushioned chair outside the office, in a lavender island chic outfit for an evening out with her girls.

If you love dancing, music and beautiful costumes, Cayman’s festival Batabano will be right up your street. Quite literally.

April saw the return of one of Cayman’s most popular international tournaments with the 2017 NORCECA Beach Volleyball tour taking place last weekend on the soft white sands of Grand Cayman’s Seven Mile Beach, just a short stroll along the beach from Plantana.

Families really look forward to rest and relaxation when at Plantana Condos, and with Easter being symbolic of rebirth and renewal, it’s no wonder spring break getaways at this Seven Mile Beach hot spot have become a beloved tradition for so many of them.

For those lucky enough to be in Grand Cayman over the Easter break, the Camana Bay Chalkfest is the perfect opportunity for children and parents alike to show off their artistic talents.

The Cayman Islands is well known for being one of the best dive destinations in the world due to our crystal clear waters as well as the abundance of colourful sea life, including tropical fish, stingrays and sea turtles. Cayman actually has more than 365 dives site: one for every day of the year
