UNPARALLELED SAND AND SEA ...

We’re situated on the widest section of Seven Mile Beach and that incredible white sand flows right out on to the ocean floor. No rocky bottom in front of Plantana! The low-rise, low-density neighbor properties on either side of Plantana offer only a few long-term rentals, so our section of the beach is not crowded and really does feel like yours alone. Then, there’s the remarkable warm, buoyant seas as well: this crystal clear, turquoise ocean has be be experienced to be believed. A swim to the southwest takes you to Governor’s Reef for great snorkeling.

EXPANSIVE TROPICAL LANDSCAPING AND ARCHITECTURE ...

Plantana’s low-rise, plantation-style buildings are set in an oasis of luxuriant, multi-hued plantings. Our generous lawns, lined with mature native trees, lavish broadleaf plantings, and an abundance of colorful blossoms are appreciated by all of our guests - as are the zippy geckos, shy iguanas, as well as vivid butterflies and birdlife that our gardens attract. Inviting seating niches and BBQ areas are found throughout our gardens. Such extensive and luxuriant landscaping has become a rarity on Seven Mile Beach.

WALKING DISTANCE TO AMENITIES AND ENTERTAINMENT ...

Within a few minutes’ stroll, you can enjoy a variety of terrific independent restaurants, or, ones at the Westin or Ritz Hotels. Some of these restaurants offer Sunday brunch and/or festive nightlife with live Caribbean music. There’s also duty-free shopping, skidoo rental, sailing and parasailing adventures -- even a discount grocery store -- within leisurely walking distance. Yes, it’s all that close!   Also, you can be picked up right at Plantana for a short drive to spectacular scuba diving sites, a good game of golf or tennis, horseback-riding on the beach, a visit to Sting Ray City, or the Turtle Farm at Boatswain’s Bay. Small public buses can take you up and down Seven Mile Beach, or right into Georgetown.

SUNSETS ...

WE CAN’T CLAIM THIS GLORY FOR OURSELVES, BUT PLANTANA IS AS GOOD AS THE ’BEST SPOT’ TO EXPERIENCE A CAYMAN SUNSET, THE OCCASIONAL GREEN FLASH, AND COLORS BEST DESCRIBED BY YOUR CAMERA.
