The Easter holidays are the perfect time to reconnect with family and friends. Plantana’s beautiful, serene, private slice of Seven Mile Beach is the perfect spot to do so.

Cayman is also host to numerous events and celebrations during Easter, all sure to keep you and your loved ones fully entertained. No Easter celebrations would be complete without a friendly visit from the Easter Bunny. You can hop down the road to the Ritz-Carlton at 12 p.m. or 2:30 p.m. on Friday March 30th and Saturday March 31st 2018 for their Afternoon Tea at Silver Palm Lounge. You will enjoy a wide range of teas paired with finger sandwiches, freshly-baked scones and tempting pastries. Yum.  Although our young guests may not see the Easter Bunny at Plantana, they’ll have fun following his trail collecting treats in an Easter Egg Hunt at Plantana on the morning of Easter Sunday.

Got a budding artist in the family? The 15th annual Chalkfest will take place on Saturday March 31st and will give your budding Picasso the opportunity to paint the town in chalk. The following day, Easter Sunday is the perfect time to enjoy, in a special way, one of Cayman’s favorite Sunday activities: Brunch. There are a wide variety of brunches happening on Sunday. Agua, Ferdinand’s, Blue Cilantro and LUCA are all amazing and nearby options for Plantana guest, including resort brunches at The Ritz-Carlton, The Westin and The Kimpton Seafire which are within walking distance.

Cayman is steeply rooted in religious tradition so there are also many churches and houses of worship of Catholic and numerous Christian denominations, all open and welcome to visitors. For more information, click here.

Kaibo Kitefest is a great and relaxing way to spend the Easter Monday. Take the water-taxi over from Camana Bay and join in on the family fun with. A live local band will also be playing on the beach. There will also be competitions for best kite, best kite flyer, best matching kite and costume, and much more.
